Violation Of The Commerce Clause?
I am wondering if the U.S. Senate and House Bills to make it a crime to transport minors across state lines to avoid parental notification laws when it comes to obtaining an abortion are unconstitutional? After all the Commerce Clause was meant to make commerce regular between the states.
For example, what if Congress passed a law that it illegal for people in a dry county to go across state lines to purchase alcohol. I doubt seriously the Supreme Court for go for that.
