Washington Post Really Doesn't Like This Bill 

In an extremely rare move the editors of the Washington Post have written their second strongly worded editorial against legislation mandating that every D.C. student be provided with a free quality education. The hatred stems from 1 and only 1 fear:

Some advocates of the charter amendment have strongly opposed publicly funded vouchers for private school tuition. It's odd that they would champion a provision that could turn into a back door voucher program.
The council is supposed to vote on the matter today.
