Great News To Come Home To
My wife and I just got back from ten days in Italy. Our daughter is doing a semester abroad in Florence. We are so proud of her. The trip made a lot of impressions on me and I hope I'll be able to weave them into some blog posts.
Today I read that Mayor Fenty has decided to scrap the horrible D.C. taxi zone system and install meters. Finally this city is moving into the 20th century (the 21st is a little too much to ask for).
Now if we could just work on the homeless people problem.
