2008 Is Going To Be An Interesting Year In DC

Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives blocked a $92,000 raise for District Chief Financial Officer Natwar Ghandi amid news that a eighth person has been arrested in the tax office refund theft and evidence that the scam may have started as early as 1990.

Also, Michelle Rhee received an early Christmas present in the D.C. Council giving her the power to fire central office DCPS employees. Remember that you heard it here first, I predict employee number one to go will be book manager Donald Winstead.
