Ex Bush Aids Oppose NCLB

Amit Paley, a reporter for the Washington Post who last wrote about the D.C. school voucher program, today has an article about aids to President Bush who no longer work for the White House and now oppose re-authorizing the No Child Left Behind Act. Many are against the legislation because it does not have a school voucher provision.

As I mentioned a few months ago, Representative Peter Hoekstra has introduced a bill which would allow states to opt-out of NCLB.

I have been searching for a way to have our charter school not participate in NCLB but so far I have not had any luck.
