Dr. Hurwitz Re-Convicted
John Tierney of the New York Times talked to some of jurors who last Friday convicted Dr. Hurwitz of misuse of his privilege of prescribing narcotics. As you can see from the story the people he spoke to seem confused.
Here is Reasons Radley Balko's comments on the conviction which echo mine. I think now it will be difficult now for any outpatient to receive the medication necessary to alleviate chronic severe pain.
