Katrina And Poverty
Charles Murray points out in OpinionJournal.com that we should not have been surprised that there were a significant number of poor people living in New Orleans and that they were more or less hidden from view. What he doesn't mention in this excellent editorial is that his controversial book "The Bell Curve" predicted both.
