Public Service 

I've been away for a few days without internet access. My reaction to watching our President attempting to manage emergency plans around Hurricane Rita is one of sadness. It looks to me all national tragedies have become political public relations efforts, instead of actual concern about people's lives. This must be terribly upsetting to the thousands of professional individuals dedicated to public service who take their jobs extremely seriously.
