Predictions For 2008
One is easy the other one a bit riskier.
The District will lose in the effort to defend the handgun ban. Yesterday, the new Acting Attorney General Peter Nickles fired the lawyer who was set to argue the case before the Supreme Court. Now the City is months behind in their preparation for one of the most important Second Amendment battles in 70 years.
Next, on the day of the Iowa caucuses I predict John McCain will be the Republican nominee for President. He will then pick as his running mate Joe Lieberman, making him the first person to run as Vice-President from two political parties.
