We Need To Support This Legislation
A bill that would require that every child in Washington D.C. receive a quality education is making its way through the D.C. council. Although some council members are worried that the bill will lead to lawsuits but they really should be worried about another unintended consequence. Since charters and traditional schools will be unable to meet this new standard the only way to provide the avenue for students to get a good education will be through private school vouchers. The law will provide a great excuse to increase access to the Opportunity Scholarship Program.
