New York Highlights
In 24 hours we:
1) Saw the show "Forbidden Broadway"
2) Hung out with costumed protesters to the Republican National Convention at Union Square
3) Had a great dinner at our favorite Mexican Restaurant "Viva Pancho" in Times Square
4) Viewed the fantastic Childe Hassam art exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
5) Moved our daughter into her new dorm room
6) Had lunch at "3 Guys" on Madison Avenue
7) Enjoyed a glass of wine at terra 47, an organic food restaurant in Greenwich Village
8) Met for brunch at Bon Vivant, Amy's favorite diner
9) Bought a New York pretzel by driving up to a vendor on our way out of the City.
10) Enjoyed the views from the panoramic windows at our suite at the Plaza Fifty.
11) Viewed at the Whitney 8 Edward Hopper paintings that the artist completed on his trip to Paris.
12) Bumped into Susan Swain, COO of C-Span, on the street while walking to the Mexican Restaurant from our hotel room.
13) Suffered through a 5 hour return trip to Reston in heavy traffic
Very strange.
