It Was Gist That Was Confused, Not Me

Dion Haynes of the Washington Post reports today that D.C. State Superintendent of Schools Deborah Gist just figured out that she has no power over the restructuring plans for the 23 schools that did not meet AYP under NCLB. She thought she did. I questioned her authority last September when she said she was going to approve Chancellor Rhee's changes. Maybe I should be State Superintendent?
