Controversy Swirls Around Ron Paul
For those of you who don't know an article in the New Republic Magazine uncovered newsletters written under Ron Paul's name which include ugly racial comments. The newsletters were produced over a period of ten years and are at least that old.
Libertarians are disgusted by them and the blogosphere is full of comments about them. Some of the best commentary is here from Reason and here from Virginia Postrel. Finally, Ron Paul himself responded to the controversy on CNN last evening.
