Jose Padilla Still Out To Sea
For years I've written about the Padilla case and his mistreatment by our government. Now the Washington Post Editors complain that his move to a regular jail cell was blocked by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th circuit in Richmond.
Well the answer for this decision is obvious. Every time Mr. Padilla's predicament is about to before the Supreme Court the Justice Department does something put itself in a better position. Its about time that the issue was decided once and for all. Namely, can we lock an American citizen up and throw away the keys in a time of war or not?
