Possible Expansion Of DC School Voucher Program
Today in the Washington Post Spencer Hsu and Dion Haynes reveal that there is talk of expanding the nation's first federally sponsored private school voucher program.
Also, yesterday I attended the graduation ceremony for the Washington scholarship Fund which included 8th and 12 graders who had attended private schools using money contributed to the fund in addition to those families receiving vouchers. I guess because I had worked for over 6 years to bring vouchers to D.C. I cried through the whole thing.
