The Republicans Deserve It
Dick Armey got it exactly right. The Republicans turned away from the principles of limited government and personal freedom. They also became involved in a conflict based upon preemptive war which are really 2 words that don't belong together in America. They also suffered from an arrogance that resulted in them telling the public that things in Iraq were going well when everyone could see that exactly the opposite is true.
George Allen also has only himself to blame. My wife and I worked hard for him against Chuck Robb and even went to the Virginia Republican Convention in Richmond as Allen delegates.
Congratulations to Lisa Raymond on her election to the D.C. School Board.
