Academic Bill of Rights
The New York Times reports today on the efforts of David Horowitz to bring conservative ideas to our nation's universities. He is addressing a serious problem. Most illuminating is the last quotation from the article, although I would modify it slightly. I would say that "In college students are assigned to read Marx who created a repudiated political philosophy that led directly to the death of millions of innocent people. Never assigned is Ayn Rand, who taught 60 years ago why these ideas are so dangerous."
